Prologue:

Lunais (lue-nae-is), the 15th moon named of the planet Linais (li-nae-is). "Luna" means moon and "is" came from the original name of the moon Luna 15. Someone put it together and to their surprise they got the name Lunais. It is said in this world that there were five dragon spirits. Spirits that were able to control the elements of the planet. The planet Linais and the moon Lunais are much like Earth. They have the same geographic features: volcanoes, continents (one is completely covered in ice on the moon), mountains, oceans/ lakes, and seasons. All of the spirits have the ability of telepathy. The "Earth Dragon" had the ability to create earthquakes, move ground, and the ability to change the seasons. The "Fira Dragon" had the ability to summon fireballs, to cause volcanic eruptions, and to change the flow of lava in any direction; he also breathed the largest amount of flames from his mouth compared to all other dragons.
The "Wind Dragon" had the ability of causing tornados, hurricanes, and he also had quick speed of flight and reaction. The "Ice Dragon" had the ability to cause blizzards, to make glaciers and move them, and the ability to freeze any enemy in its way. The "Water Dragon" had the ability to create floods, typhoons, move river flows, and to make it rain in any amount. The spirits live in the geographic location that was related to their main ability. They live on the planet Linais, all except the Ice Spirit, which lives on the ice continent of Lunais. They live in time yet to come with tall skyscrapers and futuristic architecture. They have advanced technology: spacecraft, lasers, holographs, etc. But they have old fashion clothing: robes, dresses, leather boots. Though most wear clothes that are designed like ours today but with a more simple design of what’s on them.
It is also said that if humans could possibly find a way to harness these powers it could be for the best. But, if by chance a human who was evil got this power the consequences would be catastrophic. Six hundred years after the dragons died one archeologist stumbled onto one of the spirits resting place. The "Earth Spirit" combined with his body and the archeologist was given the powers.
Twenty-five years after his death the spirit lives on in his daughter. The spirit is on a quest to find the ancestors of the people who were their mutual representatives. The date is July twentieth of the year 2621 and this is where our story begins...
Chapter One part 1,
The Meeting
I was on my way home from a job that I just finished and just getting off the train. I was heading towards the bridge when I noticed a young woman walking along the shore looking into the water at an object. I thought after a while that I’ve seen her sometime before but I couldn’t get a name with the face. I continued to walk over the bridge, but not too much along I stopped. Looking down I noticed that she was now in the water and not moving any of her body.
I looked more closely at her; she didn’t move an inch, just floated there silently in a un-conscience state. I noticed too that a dark shadow was underneath her now, that’s when I jumped in. As I hit the water it knocked the breath out of me, I realized that the water was much colder than usual. I swam furiously towards her body, I realized now that the ringing in my ears was really sirens from the nearby ambulance. I figured that someone either saw me jump in or saw the woman’s body, then called the hospital. I got to her, and to my surprise her body temperature was much colder than the water’s temperature. I grabbed her arm and started to swim towards the shore but I couldn’t move.
It felt like something had grabbed me and was trying to pull me under while at the same time it felt like something else was keeping me from going under. I looked down and the large shadow was much closer to us than it had been before. I was able to swim with her to the shore; I pulled her up, she was still un-conscience so I did C.P.R. Not long after I started the paramedics showed up. They came out “Help her! Help her!” I shouted at them as they got out of the vehicle. They got to her, continued CPR. and held her head up, she spit water out and I knew that she was still alive. I looked at her face more closely now than before, she had a blue pearl necklace on that seemed to be glowing, she opened her eyes and stared at me. I looked back towards the water, the shadow was gone, nothing there; nothing but the bluest water I ever saw.
The paramedics put her in the vehicle and they drew their attention to me. “What the?!” one of them said as he came walking towards me, “What happened to your arm?” “I’m not...sure...but it felt...like some...thing.... bi...bit me,” I was having a hard time talking and breathing. “We better take you in, it looks serious,” the other one said. “Yah...sure...” That’s when I passed out. The next thing I knew I was awake in the hospital.
